Maryland wines have been steadily gaining attention and respect from the wine industry and media over the past couple years. The May 18, 2014 feature article “Maryland: Not Just for Crabs Anymore” in online wine magazine Palate Press mentions several outstanding wines, including two of Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard’s signature blends, “Comus” and “Evoe!” (which recently won a Maryland Winemasters gold medal, by the way.)
