At Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard, our focus is on wine education. Our well-trained staff will guide you through a tasting of our award-winning wines, available at $10 per person for groups of four or smaller. No reservations required.
Planning to stay after your tasting? We offer an a la carte menu of cheeses, meats and other snacks to enjoy with your favorite glass of wine. All wines on the tasting menu are served by the glass or bottle from noon to 5:30 p.m. daily. We offer live music on summer weekends and a warm fire on chilly winter weekends, so raise your glass and make memories with us. Small picnics of food are welcome outdoors only and only by our winery patrons, but NO BEVERAGES will be permitted. Feel free to bring an empty water bottle to fill in our fountain, or we offer bottled water, Perrier and Izze Sparkling Juice for purchase.
We welcome your group to share a quiet outing at our winery and enjoy the beautiful countryside, but please no organized parties without prior arrangements. It is possible to have your special party at our vineyard during normal business hours, but it is imperative that arrangements are made in advance.
Indoor seating is reserved for groups of four or less. If you are planning to have a group in attendance that exceeds 4 guests, you must contact our Managers, Susan and Jennifer in advance at 301-605-0130. These visits will be weather dependent as seating will be outdoors only. When arrangements have been made, larger parties will be allowed one picnic table in the grassy seating area, are permitted to bring a folding table for additional table room along with yard chairs and blankets, and must take their picnic food trash with them. We request that no balloons be brought to the winery. Our winery property is for paying customers only.
Tours of our winery are offered on WEEKENDS ONLY at 12:30 p.m. for $5/person. These tours are open to the first 20 people who reserve spots or for walk-ins when spots are available. Please call 301-605-0130 in advance to make sure we can accommodate you!
