to current regulatory conditions, we do not sell online. We sell our
wine primarily at our vineyard; click to view our current
price list. In addition,
there are many establishments in our area to
buy our wines,
including restaurants, clubs, wine shops, liquor stores and supermarkets. We are also
able to ship wines to wine lovers in some
states under certain conditions. Please
contact us.
In addition to our wonderful wines, we also offer related
merchandise. For your special events, we
offer private labeling of our bottles. If
and when regulatory issues change, we may be
able to sell our wines online. We will update our site as relevant
developments occur and provide information as to how you could help.

Shipping
We can ship wine, under certain conditions to certain states, and as of July 1, 2011 wineries in Maryland can ship directly to consumers in Maryland. For more information or to place and order, contact the SMV Tasting Room at 301-605-0130.
Earthwise Recyclable Wine Totes
We are now using Earthwise totes for our wines. Come purchase some of our wines and
receive a tote.
Private Labels
If you have a special celebration, wedding, anniversary or other event,
we offer two types of private labels to customize your bottles: an oval
seal and a full front label. Ordering deadline for either label type is three weeks
prior to your event; Minimum order is 36 bottles (3 cases). For information contact Carolyn at
carolyn@smvwinery.com, or Anne at anne@smvwinery.com.
Regulatory Issues
Through the great efforts of Delegate Brian Feldman, and help from
Senator Garagiola, as well as splendid work by Pat Roddy, Sugarloaf
Mountain Vineyard - starting on April 10, 2007 - has now been enabled to
sell its wine directly to all other wine licensees in Montgomery County
without having to go through the Montgomery County Liquor Control Board.
This right extends to all Class 6 wine licensees (those which produce
27,500 gallons of wine or fewer in any given calendar year.) We are
proud to have been part of the team producing this breakthrough
legislation.
