Pinot Grigio at Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard is made in the light, fruity Italian style. Outstanding with surprising complexity, the wine already exhibits classic Pinot Grigio characteristics. Pair this wine with risotto, lightly flavored pastas, omelettes, quiches and grilled white meats or salmon. Ready to drink now, the Pinot Grigio will improve with age over the next three to four years.

2007 Pinot Grigio – Maryland
This vintage offers enticing aromas of melon, lychee and apple with hints of tropical fruit and stone. On the palate, the wine exhibits golden apple and citrus characters along with a lingering finish reminiscent of lemon zest with hints of blossom and honey.

This is our much anticipated second vintage of Pinot Grigio. It is made in the light, fruity Italian style; refreshing, medium-bodied demonstrating a surprising complexity for a young wine. With a light straw color, the bouquet exhibits citrus and apple aromas with hints of lychee and fresh flowers. The flavors are intense with grapefruit, lemon, mineral and honeydew melon characters, along with a lingering, bright finish.
