In mythology, Circe is a powerful enchantress who transforms mortals with her potions. Daughter of the Sun and mother of Comus, the goddess has charms that few can resist. Circe is a youthful, easy-drinking red wine. A blend of the five Bordeaux varietals, Circe demonstrates that fruit-forward early release wines can still have outstanding flavor depth and a complex character. This finely balanced wine will pair well with grilled meats and vegetables along with dark chocolate. Ready to consume now, the Circe will improve with age over the next 3 - 4 years.

Bronze Medalist: 2009 Maryland Governor’s Cup
This youthful light-bodied red with its ruby-brick hue displays understated complexity for an early release wine. The bouquet conveys subtle aromatics of sour cherry and roasted nut with hints of earth and citrus while the palate expresses bright elements of jam and dried fruit with hints of black pepper and straw. The wine finishes strong with the suggestion of black olive and baking spice.
