In mythology, Circe is a powerful
enchantress who transforms mortals with her potions. Daughter of the Sun
and mother of Comus, the goddess has charms that few can resist. Circe
is a youthful, easy-drinking red wine. A blend of the five Bordeaux
varietals, it Circe demonstrates that fruit-forward early release wines
can still have outstanding flavor depth and a complex character. This
finely balanced wine will pair well with grilled meats and vegetables
along with dark chocolate. Ready to consume now, the Circe will improve
with age over the next 3 - 4 years.

Circe
This young, heady medium-bodied red with its
burgundy hue exhibits surprising complexity for a young wine. The
bouquet exudes deep, nuanced aromatics of red currant and raspberry
while the palate expresses elements of blackberry jam and dark chocolate
along with hints of violets and cassis. Mature tannins fill the mouth
with flavor and the wine finishes strong with the suggestion of cracked
peppercorn and coffee.

A
blend of the five Bordeaux varietals, this young, expressive
medium-bodied red exhibits deep purple color with aromas of white
pepper, strawberry jam and blooming flowers. On the palate, the wine
expresses spicy components of black pepper and mint along with black
olive, black berry and nutmeg. Circe’s fruit finish lingers only a short
time, making it ideal for pairing with just about any meal.
