2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon bottling is the big brother to the previously released 2007 Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. The “Cab Reserve” is dense, heavy and full-bodied with
an intricate composition. It is deeply hued with carmine red and hints of orange and purple, and immediately impresses with aromas of blackberry and cassis, quince, fresh flowers and perfume.
The elegant palate is full and rich with complex notes of pepper and jam, red berries, almond and butter. Big, round tannins and a spine of acidity perfectly balance the lushness of the fruits. The long length leaves behind lingering notes of leather, mocha and black pepper.
Just released!

Silver Medalist: 2009 Maryland Governor’s Cup
This powerhouse Cabernet Sauvignon is black/garnet in color and bursting with aromas of black currant and clove, complemented by subtle caramel and savory notes. The weighty palate commands attention with pure, concentrated, sinuous layers of black fruits, dark chocolate, black pepper, spice and tar. Hints of espresso and black berry complement big, chewy tannins on an enduring finish.

Our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied wine, rich and dark with
complex flavors, robust tannins and an intense ruby red complexion.
Inviting aromas of blackberries, almond, hazelnut and spice leap from
the glass. The intense, dark berry fruit continues on the palate with
notes of plum, cedar and dark chocolate. The “Cabernet” finishes strong
and lingers with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Less than 200 cases
of this vintage remain in stock.

Sauvignon Reserve
Bronze Medalist: 2009 Maryland
Winemasters’ Choice Awards
This is a true reserve, with the best
barrels of the award winning 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon allowed to age in
barrel for an additional 22 months to create this bright, complex quaff.
Pair this wine with roasted and heavily sauced beef and game, aged, hard
cheeses and fine dark chocolate. Patience is a virtue and the virtues of
this wine will truly express themselves after a year of bottle age.
Properly cellared, the “Reserve” will peak in three year and should
provide drinking pleasure until 2015.
